I’m so pleased with my laser tattoo removal experience with Olimpia Carmen. My 4x4 inch tattoo started fading away after the every first session and it was completely gone at the end of 4th session. I am extremely satisfied with the services of Laser Skin Care and highly recommend Olimpia and her team for not only laser tattoo removal but other cosmetic procedures as well.

I had a blue colored crab tattooed on my left shoulder which I wanted get eliminated. I consulted various laser experts but they all excused saying it won’t go away completely. But Olimpia accepted the challenge and took just 5 sessions to erase it completely. My shoulder is as clean as it never had a tattoo. Thank you Olimpia, you are great!

Lasers work by producing short pulses of high intensity beams which penetrate into the skin without damaging the skin surface and selectively target the tattoo ink only. The tattoo pigment absorbs heat from these laser beams and breaks up into microscopic particles which are them absorbed and removed by the body’s immune system. The procedure does cause some discomfort, but that is bearable. Your dermatologist will apply some topical anesthetic to the treatment area before the procedure to numb the area and make the procedure virtually painless.
Black ink removes the best. Minimum number of sessions will be required to erase a black tattoo completely. Dark colors, like red, orange, blue and warmer colors also respond well to lasers. Lighter colors like yellow, pink, purple and green are more stubborn and need more treatments for their removal. However, with the latest technology, removing green and lighter shades of blue is also quite easy. But removing tattoos of flesh tone and permanent makeup still remains a challenge as lasers can make them darker. Such tattoos will be first tested before treatment.
Dark colors generally respond well to lasers. However, the exact number of sessions can never be told. Your dermatologist or laser expert will first examine your tattoo design, its age and the ink used before telling you a rough estimate about the number of sessions required for removing your tattoo. Even that would be an estimate and actual number of session can be plus-minus 1 or 2.
Well in most cases, yes! The tattoos do eliminate completely. But the efficacy of treatment will not depend only on the laser system used or the expertise of the person performing the procedure. There are several other factors as well that play a vital role in determining how successfully your tattoo will be erased. These include your tattoo design, its pattern, its age, the ink used and above all how professionally the tattoo has been crafted. A professionally crafted tattoo is easier to remove as compared to those crafted by inexperienced hands.
We use Q-switched lasers for removing redundant tattoos. These FDA-approved lasers are effective and safe and do not cause any unwanted side effects like skin burns or skin discoloration.
